Daily Sketch: Cartoony death.
A quick @SkottieYoung inspired cartoon.
Quick cartoon of a tree dancing disco. This site will behave like an art site and I’ll post news and more stuff here, too. By the way, there’s my new signature.
I’ll use this style for a webcomic I’ll release in January or December, who knows? Have a good night!
Pennywise. By the way, this is the last drawing you’ll see with my old signature. I’m changing it, so it can be clear for comic books, posters and other things!
Love your work! Age of Ultron was amazing. I used to be very confident about my art. I've read a lot of comments of rejected artists. I've never sent art samples to editors because I'm too nervous about it, after reading that. Art teachers and people say my work is good but for some reason I'm too nervous. Do you have an advice for this? And when does persistence become annoying? Should I stop sending samples to an editor at some point? I'm happy about the Netflix deal! Good for you guys!
Get over yourself.
send your stuff in.
all they can do is say no.
if your biggest fear is rejection, remind yourself that every single person who’s work you admire has faced a mountain of rejection
I had that word NO said to me thousands of times.
if you imagine your dream life working as a professional artist the only way to make that happen is to put yourself in the game. brace yourself for rejection because it will happen… but to live in fear is not the way to live.
I am like a fortune cookie today :-)
This really made my day. I’m not confident about my work (until now). I can’t be arrogant “because I’m an artist.” I don’t have that trait. I will save this message to keep myself motivated, thank you, Brian Michael Bendis!
